About PACS
Affordable. Comfortable. Safe living. The story behind PACS Independent Living and the work we do across Florida.
Our Mission
PACS Independent Living provides affordable, comfortable, and safe living that helps adults maintain independence and reconnect with their community. We work especially closely with single mothers, alongside veterans, re-entry, and other neighbors who need a steady door of their own.
We believe a structured, supportive shared environment can do what a shelter or short-term rental cannot: rebuild a life that lasts.
The Founder
Corray built PACS to be the kind of place she would want her own people to walk into. Structured enough to feel safe, soft enough to feel like home, transparent enough to trust.
Her work focuses on the people most often missed by traditional housing: single mothers piecing it back together, veterans navigating life after service, returning citizens looking for a fair start. The shared living model means residents are not alone, and the program guardrails mean the home stays safe.
The program operates out of Florida and works with local partners across the state.
What We Stand For
Affordable
Program fees are kept in reach of working adults and benefit recipients alike. Stability shouldn't be a luxury.
Comfortable
Furnished units, privacy where it matters, and the everyday infrastructure that turns a roof into a home.
Safe
Smoke and CO detectors, fire extinguishers, common-area monitoring, and routine safety checks. Built into the design.
Compliance
PACS Independent Living complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Florida housing and safety regulations, the Fair Housing Act, and Florida Civil Rights laws. Mandatory reporting requirements are honored when they apply.
